Gretna Heritage Festival Ferry Schedule

FRIDAY, October 1st

First boat from Canal Street: 7:00 a.m.
Last passengers carried from Canal Street: 9:30 p.m.

First boat leaving Gretna: 6:30 a.m.
Last boat leaving Gretna: 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Second vessel begins operations from Canal Street at 4:30 p.m. During times that both vessels are in service, departures from Gretna will be on the hour AND the half-hour, and departures from Canal Street will be on the hour AND the half-hour.

During peak traffic loads, schedules may have to be modified to accommodate large crowds. After 9:30 p.m., vessels will depart Canal Street immediately after offloading passengers, and return to Gretna to carry passengers from Gretna to Canal Street.

SATURDAY, October 2nd

First boat from Canal Street: 1:30 p.m.
Last passengers carried from Canal Street: 10 p.m.

First boat leaving Gretna: 1:30 p.m.
Last boat from Gretna: 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Two vessels will operate beginning at 1:30 p.m. Departures from Gretna will be on the hour AND the half-hour, and departures from Canal Street will be on the hour AND the half-hour.

During peak traffic loads, schedules may have to be modified to accommodate large crowds. After 10:00 p.m., vessels will depart Canal Street immediately after offloading passengers, and return to Gretna to carry passengers from Gretna to Canal Street.

SUNDAY, October 3rd

First boat from Canal Street: 11:30 a.m.
Last passengers carried from Canal Street: 7:30 p.m.

First boat leaving Gretna: 11:30 a.m.
Last boat from Gretna: 10:30 p.m.

Two vessels will operate beginning at 1:30 p.m. Departures from Gretna will be on the hour AND the half-hour, and departures from Canal Street will be on the hour AND the half-hour.
